Another Art Update

Hey, everybody. Back again with another note-worthy update. It has taken me a while, definitely far longer than I would have liked, but you know how life goes; always something coming up or getting in the way of what you need to do, struggling with motivation certainly included. But, enough whining, I'm here to let all of you know that I finally completed all animations regarding status ailments, both inflicting them and the idle animation of them over characters, as well as a few other animations, like pre-action things before the actual cast of a spell or launching of an ability. Think I also did all of the weapon/weapons swinging animations too, but I'm not sure if I did that in my previous update or not. Been a wee bit since my last post and my memory's not the best. Either way, a good deal of animations have been made up to this point, so now what remains on that front is all damage-based abilities (IE, a burst of fire for my Ignis spell, or a ball of water for my Aqua spell, and so on) and maybe a few other small additions that I may think up or come across at a later date. After that, I'll need to work on backgrounds for the battle scenes, make enemies up to the point of the demo's end, and check in with a couple of artist friends and see how there work is coming along with the tilesets for the overworld maps and the facial portraits.

So, all in all, things are coming along, albeit slower than I would like, but any progress is good progress, right? Still going to be a bit on my end, but that fresh, updated demo is getting more and more in sight with every day, so don't lose hope; I'll be getting it to you at some point, hopefully sooner than later. Until then, I'll continue to keep you posted of anything I find important as far as updates are concerned, and I hope to see you here for the next update and eventual release of my hopefully official and final demo!
