Demo v1.5 Fixes
Hey, all. Here again with another update. Thought about how I added a "scan" object, but didn't give a good run down over elements and ailments in the game, so I decided to apply quite a few additions or fixes to help remedy that.
- Fixed a small error in the minimap when it came to using the sigil at the end of the Haizae Forest.
- Added a tutorial to the unskippable battle mid-way through the forest giving a brief rundown of elements and ailments.
- Created a sort of manual in-game that lets the player get a better understanding of the symbols used for any and all elements and ailments.
- Fixed a small issue concerning how many enemies you encounter in the first two sections of the forest immediately after getting Arae.
- Changed item, skill, weapon, armor, accessory, and artifact descriptions, making it far more clear to see what, if any, elements or ailments they give or prevent.
- Put "specialties" under each character's "Status" page, letting the player better understand what each character (so far) is capable of and what makes them stand out most in battle.
- Changed the proficiency of elemental gems found in the two shops in the demo (also all other that will be available in the full game).
- Made a set of dialogue for the first weapon vendor/blacksmith in Silvale Village, explaining what all positives and negatives there are to using certain weapon types.
There were also quite a few other fixes that were made that won't be seen in the demo, but make a big difference in the full game, such as the addition of a few more elemental gems, the changing of stats or special effects on various weapons and armor, and so on. Anyway, that's about all for this update. Here's hoping that should be everything for a good while, but you never know, I might find something else that needs fixing within the next few days and I'll push out another demo version because of it. With that said, here's hoping the changes made a difference, both in understanding and enjoyment, and I'll be seeing all of you wonderful people next time!
