Full Game Update - 1


Hey, all, me again. With the demo where it is now and no criticisms to work with via the demo, I have been doing a fair bit of work on the full game since my last demo version's upload. Something that was and is quite simple (adding a minimap to nearly every map), still took a good chunk of time to properly implement to all maps that have been made up to this point, but, I am finally all caught up with the full game. I have taken the additions made in the demo and stretched them all the way to where I am currently in the game's design and I have also added in a few other "polishes" to the full game to make it a better play. A few of those things that I can name right off-hand are an item that reveals any and all open or closed treasure chests on any map that they are present on (different graphics to represent open and closed chests, just to be clear), an item that reveals any hidden paths in an environment with a minimap, an item that will allow the player to instantly kill all enemies on screen if they are so many levels below the player, and so on. The items listed will be craft-able and all act as toggle-able items (meaning, the player can turn them on and off at any given time, all without fear of wasting said items after toggling them). Also, all enemies and bosses to this point in the game have been properly scaled using the "flow" of difficulty the enemies found in the demo had, ensuring that all other enemies beyond the demo are reasonable to battle against. Also, all enemies have been given levels, as well as elemental/ailment strengths and weaknesses that better fit them. There have been a few other small touches over the span of the full game, but it is mostly small things like fixing typos or color correction on certain phrases or words. Anyway, with that all said, I thought it wise to keep everyone updated on the full game's current progress and I will be sure to place another update upon reaching a benchmark in the game's progress.
